主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
陳德亮教授現(xiàn)為瑞典哥德堡大學(xué)奧古斯特·羅斯（August R?hss）講席教授及瑞典皇家科學(xué)院地學(xué)部主任，是國(guó)際知名的氣候?qū)W家，在區(qū)域氣候與大氣環(huán)流的關(guān)系、氣候動(dòng)力學(xué)及氣候變化等領(lǐng)域取得了重要成果。他1961年出生于江蘇泰州，1983年畢業(yè)于南京大學(xué)氣象系，1989年開(kāi)始在德國(guó)Mainz的Johannes Gutenberg大學(xué)師從諾貝爾獎(jiǎng)得主Paul Crutzen教授，1992獲博士學(xué)位。1993年被哥德堡大學(xué)地球科學(xué)系聘為物理氣象學(xué)高級(jí)講師，2000年成為該校終生教授。
陳德亮教授是瑞典皇家科學(xué)院院士、歐洲科學(xué)與藝術(shù)學(xué)院院士、哥德堡皇家藝術(shù)與科學(xué)院院士、發(fā)展中國(guó)家科學(xué)院院士及中國(guó)科學(xué)院和挪威科學(xué)和文學(xué)院外籍院士。多年來(lái)他活躍在國(guó)際科學(xué)界，特別在瑞典和中國(guó)地學(xué)界。2009-2012年出任國(guó)際科學(xué)理事會(huì)(ICSU)執(zhí)行主席，為全球科學(xué)研究的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、協(xié)調(diào)與合作做出了重要貢獻(xiàn)。作為140多個(gè)國(guó)家科學(xué)院/機(jī)構(gòu)和30多個(gè)學(xué)科的國(guó)際科學(xué)聯(lián)合會(huì)的理事會(huì)代表，發(fā)起、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、協(xié)調(diào)四項(xiàng)全球變化研究計(jì)劃（IGBP，WCRP，IHDP，DIVERSITAS）以及未來(lái)地球研究計(jì)劃。
陳德亮院士早前曾任中國(guó)氣象局國(guó)家氣候中心科學(xué)主任和瑞典哥德堡大氣科學(xué)中心主任。他為多個(gè)政府、政府間組織和國(guó)際非政府組織以及國(guó)家研究資助機(jī)構(gòu)擔(dān)任科學(xué)顧問(wèn)和評(píng)審專(zhuān)家，參與國(guó)際上著名的研究中心和計(jì)劃的科學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)和理事會(huì)的工作，擔(dān)任沃爾沃環(huán)境獎(jiǎng)、Olav Thon獎(jiǎng)等國(guó)際大獎(jiǎng)的評(píng)委，包括最近的日本人文與自然研究所項(xiàng)目評(píng)審委員會(huì)委員、中國(guó)科技部全球變化研究國(guó)家重大科學(xué)研究計(jì)劃專(zhuān)家組成員、瑞典Stockholm Resilience Centre理事會(huì)成員、瑞典環(huán)境與氣候數(shù)據(jù)中心科學(xué)咨詢(xún)委員會(huì)主席、斯德哥爾摩水獎(jiǎng)(Stockholm Water Prize)提名委員會(huì)主席及瑞典皇家科學(xué)院地學(xué)部主任。他還擔(dān)任IPCC第五、六次評(píng)估報(bào)告第一工作組的主要作者、協(xié)調(diào)主要作者和多個(gè)國(guó)際科學(xué)期刊的編輯，并榮獲中國(guó)科學(xué)院2016年度“國(guó)際科技合作獎(jiǎng)”和2017年度“中華人民共和國(guó)國(guó)際科學(xué)技術(shù)合作獎(jiǎng)”。
Brief Introduction of Professor Deliang Chen
Deliang Chen is the August R?hss Professor of the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is a world renowned climate researcher and elected member of six Academies in the world including the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has served on numerous international and national committees and boards, as well as advised various governmental, intergovernmental, and international non-governmental bodies including funding agencies. Recent examples include: chair of the Nomination Committee of the Stockholm Water Prize; member of the Science Committee of the VOLVO Environment Prize; Chair of the Earth Science Division of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences; and member of the Board of Stockholm Resilience Centre as well as Bolin Centre External Science Advisory Group. He also acts as a Coordinating Lead Author in Working Group I of the IPCC’s sixth assessment report, and serves as an editor for several international scientific journals.

主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
約翰·米爾斯海默（John J.Mearsheimer），美國(guó)芝加哥大學(xué)“溫得爾·哈里森杰出貢獻(xiàn)”政治學(xué)教授、國(guó)際安全政策項(xiàng)目主任、美國(guó)藝術(shù)與科學(xué)學(xué)院院士，著名國(guó)際關(guān)系理論家。近年來(lái)約翰·米爾斯海默教授訪(fǎng)問(wèn)過(guò)中國(guó)外交部和多所著名高校。他的代表作《大國(guó)政治的悲劇》（The Tragedy of Great Power Politics）已經(jīng)被翻譯成中文出版，在中國(guó)國(guó)際關(guān)系理論界激起了廣泛的關(guān)注和爭(zhēng)鳴。Mearsheimer的其他著作，F(xiàn)alse Promise of International Institutions, Back to the Future, Bound to Fail: The Rise and Fall of the Liberal International Order等，都是國(guó)際關(guān)系學(xué)界膾炙人口的上乘之作。他的近作《大妄想:自由主義夢(mèng)想與國(guó)際現(xiàn)實(shí)》(The Great Delusion: Liberal Dreams and International Realities)于2018年由耶魯大學(xué)出版社出版，很快翻譯成中文，將由上海人民出版社于2019年出版發(fā)行。

主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
種康，中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士，中國(guó)科學(xué)院植物研究所研究員，中國(guó)科學(xué)院大學(xué)教授，博士生導(dǎo)師。1984年，蘭州大學(xué)獲學(xué)士學(xué)位；1988年，蘭州大學(xué)獲碩士學(xué)位；1993年，蘭州大學(xué)獲博士學(xué)位。1993–1997年，蘭州大學(xué)、中科院植物研究所和日本東北大學(xué)做博士后。曾在蘭州大學(xué)任助教、講師；曾與香港科技大學(xué)生物系、美國(guó)普渡大學(xué)和Dow Agrosciences LLC作合作研究。1997到植物所工作。
種康院士現(xiàn)任中科院植物研究所黨委書(shū)記、副所長(zhǎng)，中國(guó)植物學(xué)會(huì)理事長(zhǎng)、中國(guó)植物生理學(xué)會(huì)理事。擔(dān)任《Journal of Integrative Plant Biology》共同主編，同時(shí)擔(dān)任《Journal of Biological Chemistry》、《Journal of Genetics and Genomics》編委。
種康院士的主要研究方向是植物感知低溫信號(hào)機(jī)制、小麥春化作用機(jī)制以及器官發(fā)生的激素互作網(wǎng)絡(luò)。在Cell、Nature Communications、EMBO Journal、PNAS、PLoS Genetics、Genome Biology 和The Plant Cell等學(xué)術(shù)期刊發(fā)表研究論文70余篇。
Brief Introduction of Professor Chong Kang
Chong Kang, CAS Members, is a professor on plant molecular physiology, the Vice Director of Institute of Botany (IOB), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), as well as a professor in University of CAS. He received his Ph.D. in plant development biology in 1993 at Lanzhou University, China. He pursued postdoctoral training in the IOB, CAS and Tohoku University, Japan. He has collaborated with Dow Agrosciences LLC, Purdue University and Hong Kong University of Science & Technology in crop molecular biology.
Prof. Chong obtained NSFC funding as a distinguished young scholar, a chief scientist of the national outstanding innovation group – plant organogenesis and cell differentiation, and was enrolled as a national member of "New Century Hundreds and Thousands of Talents Project". Prof. Chong is an editor in the journal boards, such as, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Plant Cell Reports, MGG etc.
Prof. Chong’s current research activities are in three main areas: Sensing chilling signal in rice, Development response to vernalization signal in wheat, and hormones (BR and GA) network in organogenesis. His lab has more than 60 papers published on peer-reviewed journals, such as Cell, Nature Communications, PNAS, EMBO Journal, Plant Cell, Plant Journal, Plant Physiology, etc.

主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
David McLaughlin院士是美國(guó)國(guó)家科學(xué)院和美國(guó)藝術(shù)與科學(xué)院兩院院士, 也是美國(guó)科學(xué)促進(jìn)會(huì)、美國(guó)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)、工業(yè)與應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士，克朗數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)研究所（CIMS）數(shù)學(xué)和神經(jīng)科學(xué)的教授。1971年于印第安納大學(xué)獲得物理博士學(xué)位。1994年至2002年任紐約大學(xué)庫(kù)蘭數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)研究所所長(zhǎng)。2002年至2016年，他擔(dān)任紐約大學(xué)教務(wù)長(zhǎng)。2003年至2005年任美國(guó)國(guó)家科學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)及其應(yīng)用委員會(huì)主席，2011年至2013年任布朗大學(xué)計(jì)算與實(shí)驗(yàn)研究所（ICERM）創(chuàng)始董事會(huì)成員，2011年至2016年任國(guó)家科學(xué)院工程與物理科學(xué)司委員會(huì)成員，2011年至今都是美國(guó)克瑞頓大學(xué)文理學(xué)院校友咨詢(xún)委員會(huì)成員。
McLaughlin院士是一位知名應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)家，迄今為止，已發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文140多篇,完成著作2部，指導(dǎo)博士和博士后超過(guò)21人。 在物理和數(shù)學(xué)的多個(gè)領(lǐng)域所做的貢獻(xiàn)成為相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的經(jīng)典工作，為此在1994年被邀請(qǐng)?jiān)趪?guó)際數(shù)學(xué)家大會(huì)上作大會(huì)報(bào)告。McLaughlin早期研究興趣主要圍繞著復(fù)雜系統(tǒng)的數(shù)學(xué)模型，例如非線(xiàn)性色散波，他對(duì)這些方程的解的數(shù)學(xué)性質(zhì)很感興趣，特別是在如何在解的性質(zhì)中看到系統(tǒng)的各個(gè)組件的集體行為。在克朗所，他開(kāi)始從事神經(jīng)科學(xué)領(lǐng)域的工作，在初級(jí)視覺(jué)皮層的建模和大規(guī)模計(jì)算方面做了很多有意義的工作。
Brief Introduction of Professor David McLaughlin
Professor David McLaughlin is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Professor McLaughlin is the Silver Professor of Mathematics and Neural Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences (CIMS), New York University. He obtained his PhD in Physics at Indiana University in 1971. From 1994 to 2002, he was Director of NYU's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. From 2002 to 2016, he served as the Provost for New York University. From 2003 to 2005, he was Chairman of Board of Mathematical Sciences and their Applications, National Academy of Sciences. From 2011 to 2013, he was Member of Founding Board of Trustees, Institute for Computational and Experimental Research (ICERM), Brown University. From 2011 to 2016, he was Member of Division Committee on Engineering and Physical Sciences of the National Academies (DEPSCOM). From 2011 till now, he is Member of Creighton University, College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Advisory Board.
Professor McLaughlin is a world-renowned physicist and applied mathematician, has published more than 140 scientific articles, and supervised more than 13 PhD students and 9 Postdocs. McLaughlin has made many important contributions to several areas of physics and mathematics. As early as 1994, he was invited speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Zurich. From his earliest research days, McLaughlin’s interests have revolved around mathematical models of complex systems, such as nonlinear dispersive waves. McLaughlin is intrigued by the mathematical properties of solutions to these equations, especially in how the collective behavior of a system’s individual components can be seen in properties of the solutions. At Courant, however, he began working in the field of neuroscience, especially on the modeling and large-scale computation of the primary visual cortex and had made a big progress in this field.

林國(guó)強(qiáng)研究員，有機(jī)化學(xué)家。1964年畢業(yè)于上海科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)化學(xué)系，1968年中國(guó)科學(xué)院上海有機(jī)化學(xué)研究所研究生畢業(yè)，師從周維善教授。同年留所工作至今。1981-1982年赴瑞典皇家理工學(xué)院作訪(fǎng)問(wèn)學(xué)者，1986-1987年赴美國(guó)匹茲堡大學(xué)和美國(guó)史克藥業(yè)研究開(kāi)發(fā)部作訪(fǎng)問(wèn)科學(xué)家。1991年晉升為研究員。1990-1999年，任中國(guó)科學(xué)院上海有機(jī)化學(xué)研究所副所長(zhǎng)、所長(zhǎng)。2001年當(dāng)選為中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士。1992年至今任國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)刊物Tetrahedron / Tetrahedron Letters出版物理事及執(zhí)行編輯；2008-2017年任《中國(guó)科學(xué)：化學(xué)》副主編。2006-2014年兼任國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金委員會(huì)化學(xué)科學(xué)部主任?，F(xiàn)任中國(guó)科學(xué)院上海有機(jī)化學(xué)研究所學(xué)術(shù)委員會(huì)主任、兼任上海中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)創(chuàng)新中藥研究院院長(zhǎng)。

Brief Introduction of Professor Guo-Qiang Lin
Professor Guo-Qiang Lin was born in Shanghai, following completion of his graduate study at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC) in 1968, joined the same institute and worked on synthetic methodology and natural products chemistry. In the fall of 1991, he was promoted to full professorship. Lin was elected as an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. He was the director of SIOC (1990-1999), and as the director of the Division of Chemical Science in National Natural Science Foundation of China (2006-2014). Lin also is serving as an Executive Board Member of Editors for Tetrahedron Publications since 1992 and has served as Chairman of Academic Committee in SIOC since 2001. He is recognized for his work in insect pheromones, bio-catalytic transformations, total synthesis of natural products, asymmetric reactions, synthesis of pharmaceutical molecule and chemistry education. He has made key accomplishments with high academic impacts.
